A ten-day first visit works better with two or three bases than a daily relocation. Compare a northern route built around Hanoi and Ninh Binh with a central route through Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An. Reserve the final full day near your departure gateway.
Make the route work for you
Start with the one place you most want to experience, then choose the number of nights you can actually give it. Add other stops only when the whole arrival-to-departure chain makes sense. This guide is a planning framework, not a live timetable or a promise about prices.

Compare the complete journey
Write down the airport or station, the onward transfer, approximate check-in window and the next departure for each leg. Travelling with children or checked luggage changes the value of a seemingly faster connection. Confirm each operating service directly before paying.
Book with flexibility
Prioritise the least flexible component of your route first, then compare accommodation location, room terms and cancellation policies. Use the remaining time for meals and local discoveries instead of locking every hour in advance.
A final reality check
Schedules, weather, entry requirements and operating access may change. Review official destination information and the provider’s current terms. These itinerary suggestions do not imply first-hand inspections or live availability.
